In preparation, I selected some bugs which would need to be backported
to have feasible ZFS support in Squeeze. Most issues primarily affect
debian-installer:

Bug #  -- package -- title
635384 -- parted -- detection of ZFS volumes (ZVOL)
635398 -- partman-base -- humandev() support for ZFS volumes
637032 -- partman-target -- please allow /lib/modules mount points
612838 -- grub-pc  -- [kfreebsd] update-grub fails on custom
partinioning during installation
612128 -- grub-pc -- [kfreebsd] grub-pc: fails to configure (camcontrol:
cam_lookup_pass: CAMGETPASSTHRU ioctl failed)
#635627 -- zfsutils -- zvol (ZFS volumes) should be available before
checkroot.sh
none -- partman-zfs -- Use a version > 8 for volume management

Please comment on the list, and/or suggest other bugs I might be missing
(again: I judge merely from a user's perspective here)

Besides of some kfreebsd specifics, most of those bugs also affect Linux
packages. I see a hard time convincing the release team to merge them,
as they don't qualify for the usual requirements [1].
