Did you try with Bookworm or other distributions?
I used it on this system since Bookworm was released. I originally did
not try to re-install it again since it is the system I wanted to
upgrade from in the first place. But because I can't get Trixie running
yet I now tried again if this doesn't work any longern. But it
instantly worked without any issues despite again using LUKS and LVM.
Does GRUB menu show up with Bookworm ?
Tis is interesting because I also tried Fedora 42 and encountered the
same problem as with Trixie. Maybe Libreboot can't deal with the newer
Linux kernel.
Or the newer GRUB (2.12 vs 2.06), if GRUB menu shows up with Bookworm
but not with Trixie.
edit /etc/default/grub to uncomment GRUB_TERMINAL=console
It already was uncommented. I ran update-grub anyway. Unfortunately
this didn't alter the behaviour.
This is weird, it should be commented by default. Had you already
uncommented it ?
If GRUB is embedded as a Coreboot payload, you can also try to use it
to boot Debian.
I am not knowledable enough to decide if this is the case with
Libreboot. But I think I have read something like this in some comment
about Libreboot somewhere.
I have no experience with Libreboot/Coreboot so cannot help much here.
PS: Your initial bug report was not forwarded to the debian-boot mailing
list because of its attachment size and could have remained unnoticed if
you had not sent a follow-up. The size limit is around 500 kB.
