Holger Levsen <holger@layer-acht.org> (2014-04-15): > package: debian-installer > > > [16:47] < h01ger> | there seems to be a problem with punjabi which other languages dont show: > https://jenkins.debian.net/view/g-i-installation/job/g-i-installation_debian_sid_daily_rescue_punjabi/ > [17:37] < KiBi> it seems to loop on the keyboard options screen here > [17:37] < KiBi> maybe setxkbmap/console-setup failing, and making it loop > [17:37] < KiBi> (no traces in syslog afaict) To reproduce, a daily mini.iso from netboot-gtk on amd64 is sufficient, picking Punjabi and default settings afterwards. It looks like console-setup-udeb is indeed getting configured OK, according to strace on udpkg and postinst scripts. The dpkg status file is even altered to contain this: | Package: console-setup-udeb | Status: install ok installed so I guess the issue is not in console-setup. For some reasons, main-menu starts over again: | Apr 15 21:07:29 main-menu[235]: DEBUG: resolver (libc6-udeb): package doesn't exist (ignored) | Apr 15 21:07:29 main-menu[235]: DEBUG: resolver (libgcc1): package doesn't exist (ignored) | Apr 15 21:07:29 main-menu[235]: INFO: Menu item 'console-setup-udeb' selected | Apr 15 21:07:29 main-menu[235]: DEBUG: resolver (libc6-udeb): package doesn't exist (ignored) | Apr 15 21:07:29 main-menu[235]: DEBUG: resolver (libgcc1): package doesn't exist (ignored) | Apr 15 21:07:29 main-menu[235]: INFO: Menu item 'console-setup-udeb' selected | Apr 15 21:07:31 main-menu[235]: DEBUG: resolver (libc6-udeb): package doesn't exist (ignored) | Apr 15 21:07:31 main-menu[235]: DEBUG: resolver (libgcc1): package doesn't exist (ignored) | Apr 15 21:07:31 main-menu[235]: INFO: Menu item 'console-setup-udeb' selected I'm not sure about why yet though.
