Package: partman-lvm Followup-For: Bug #698392 Last weekend I tried to install wheezy using the RC1 installer (debian-wheezy-DI-rc1-amd64-netinst.iso) and experienced the same problem. After booting the installer from usb stick, I had to insert another USB device with non-free firmware to enable network hardware. At the partitioning step the installer hangs at exactly 50% and Alt-F4 shows "partman-lvm: No volume groups found". As a workaround, I partitioned the hard-drive manually using fdisk (see [1]) and skipped the partman partitioning step. The rest of the installation process then went fine. Installer logs are attached. What additional information do you need?
