You don't need a driver for the drive, you need a driver for the SATA
controller that it's connected to.  Try this:

1. Start the installer (select Installer or Graphical installer at the
first menu).
2. Press Ctrl-Alt-F2 and then Enter to start a shell.
3. Run 'lspci -nn' to list the PCI devices in the system.  You should
see one labelled 'SATA controller [0106]'.  Send us the text that
follows this label.
