Bug#697486: Asus N56DP-DH11 Debian install issues - installation-reports



Ah no, I initially tried to install Squeeze on this laptop after I disabled UEFI mode, but since it wouldn't install GRUB or LILO I moved on & installed Wheezy after filing this bug report for Squeeze, since the bootloader issue only seems to occur in Squeeze & not in Wheezy.

Hmm, you've confused me now. In yout initial report, you said:

which suggested you were trying to install Wheezy rather than
Squeeze. Is that the case?
