This looks like #612850: "VG creation dialog should show only PVs".

Could you provide us with the installer logs so that somebody can
investigate further?
This may be a lease problem. For instance see #596667
(http://bugs.debian.org/596667).

I guess this concerns save-logs, cloning and reassigning accordingly.
