Bug#534248: debian-installer: File system creation failed

Package: debian-installer
Version: testing
Severity: important

Hi, I just tried the debian testing businesscard installer I downloaded
yesterday. The README.txt identifies it as:
Debian GNU/Linux testing "Squeeze" - Official Snapshot amd64 BC
Binary-1 20090620-09:39

I try to use an encrypted (dm-crypt) partition, containing lvm, and then
a swap and a root partition on the lvm.

When trying to finish partitioning, it tells me:
"The ext3 file system creation in partition #1 of LVM VG foo, LV bar failed."

On console 3, it tells me that my partition "is apparently in use by the
system; will not make a filesystem here".

It all looks like bug #502618 (including the "...p1" partitions in
/dev/mapper" but that one was patched and closed half a year ago, so
the problem must be somewhere different now. Can you help me?

Thanks,
Markus
