"sudo" installations and PolicyKit

Hi!

The last versions of GNOME uploaded to unstable have switched to
PolicyKit for most of the administration tools.

As PolicyKit (or at least the configuration actually shipped) does not
look into /etc/sudoers, this had the unfortunate effect of breaking the
setup made by the debian-installer for a system with root login
deactivated.

I have manually added a "define_admin_auth" tag in
/etc/PolicyKit/PolicyKit.conf to overcome the problem, but I wonder:

 * What is the planned migration path for all existing systems
that have been installed in sudo-mode?
 * What changes should be made to the debian-installer in order to
   support the new GNOME way?

About the later, the installer currently uses update-alternatives to
switch libgksu-gconf-defaults to sudo mode. What needs to be changed?

Cheers,
