Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

it would be very nice to put the GRUB password into /boot/grub/menu.lst
in MD5-hashed form, instead of plain-text.

I.e., add
password --md5 $1$abcdef...
instead of
password foo

This should be fixed in current versions of the Lenny installer.
