libata.pata_dma=1, was netinstall daily 220708 fails to boot on Dell D620

I did try the standard remedies - testing CDF readability, rewriting on
another blank CD and setting ide=nodma - they have failed.
But after a lot of googling, I set libata.pata_dma=1 and this succeeded.
Strangely, one of the first lines on teh screen said that this option is
unknown and "ignoring" - but nevertheless it worked. (The line was only on
the screen briefly).
Perhaps this should be in the FAQ?
(The LVM issue I reported for beta2 is fixed in the daily. Sorry for hitting
Send prematurely on that one).
