Bug#340935: Netcfg - hotplugging config no longer works with 2.6.14 + udev

Hi Thomas,

I've seen that you were involved in the part of netcfg that sets this up.
With 2.6.14 and udev enabled, normal interfaces are now recognized as
hotpluggable. This works fine during installation, but the interface does
not come up after reboot.

I've put the details in [1]. Could you please have a look at that?

It's rather a blocker for the new daily images, so if we cannot find a
proper solution soon, I think we'll have to temporarily disable the
hotplugging config (which should be fairly easy to to).

Colin Watson also pointed me to some preliminary ideas for Ubuntu
regarding this [2], but I'm not sure that also applies for Debian.

Cheers,
Frans Pop
