Marvell Yukon adapter not detected.

I have a onboard Marvell Yukon Ethernet adapter that does not automatically get detected by the Debian installer (http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/daily/i386/current/debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso. Downloaded on 12:36pm EST 11/07/05, i386). Here are the specs:

Mobo: MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum [http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=K8N_Neo4_Platinum&class=mb] Onboard Adapter Model: Marvell Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.

If i patch the kernel manually with the following patch manually afterwards, the adapter does work:

http://www.syskonnect.com/syskonnect/support/driver/htm/sk9elin.htm

Any way to integrate that into the installer so that the adapter is autodetected when the installer runs? The Ubuntu Breezy installer is able to auto-detect the adapter right from the start.

Thanks.
