Package: main-menu Version: 1.08 If I start an installation at default priority and back out to the menu half way through to set the priority to medium (using cdebconf-priority), the menu is not shown after the next step is run. Instead the step after that is run automatically. The culprit seems to be main-menu which resets the priority to high. The excerpt from syslog below shows what happens. main-menu[1257]: DEBUG: Menu item 'partman-base' selected main-menu[1257]: DEBUG: configure partman-base, status: 2 [...] <!-- Using Go back to exit to menu --> main-menu[1257]: INFO: Menu item 'partman-base' succeeded but requested to be left unconfigured. main-menu[1257]: INFO: Modifying debconf priority limit from 'high' to 'medium' debconf: Setting debconf/priority to medium [...] <!-- Running cdebconf-priority to set prio to medium from here on --> main-menu[1257]: DEBUG: Menu item 'cdebconf-priority' selected main-menu[1257]: DEBUG: configure cdebconf-priority, status: 2 debconf: Setting debconf/priority to medium [...] <!-- Continuing with partman --> main-menu[1257]: DEBUG: Menu item 'partman-base' selected main-menu[1257]: DEBUG: configure partman-base, status: 4 [...] <!-- Partman finishes.
