Fine. The most most important is reporting things package by

In case of '/d-i/trunk/packages/partman/partman-reiserfs/' what's the
package? 'partman' or 'partman-reiserfs'?
Your suggestions were interesting (especially the "quoting" one). We
however have to deal with size contraints some times and quoting adds
at least two extra characters, so it will sometimes be quite hard to
do.
Anyway, we'll see case by case.
The more constraint rules, the easier to automize.
I see you mentioned the "bootloader/boot loader" case. I don't
remember if consistency check has been made here. One occurred for
filesystem/file system so I think one is likely to be made for
bootloader/boot loader.
'bootloader' appears 11 times. See attachment.
Checking against a blacklist of words needs few seconds.
But the remaining problems at the spelling level seem to be very seldom:
- Mac/Macintosh (1/2 times)
- Inter-User/Inter-user (1/1 times)
- Point-to-Point/Point-to-point/point-to-point/pointopoint
(2/1/2/1 times)
- CD/CD-R/CD-ROM/CD-ROM(s)/CD-ROMs (6/1/52/1/1 times)
The more interesting part seems the use/reduction of possible synonyms
like e.g.
- preseed(ed)/preconfiguration (2(4)/4 times)
