I understand this is needed now. But which possibility do we have to
still have an editor ?

I often use nano for localechooser tests, to be able to make changes
to localechooser scripts inside D-I and not have to recompile and boot
a full initrd for just these tests.

The only solution I'm currently left with is pulling out things which
come after localechooser, which I don't care in these tests and put
nano-udeb back in the initrd...but that's pretty inconvenient..:)

So, do we need to rebuild all packages depending on slang2 as soon as
possible?

Is there something I can do here (you know what are my skills, Joey...:-)))?
