hi folks, i hope this is the right list (and not d-cd), and please note that this is a shameless plug since i am the maintainer of zsync and hope to attract more users and more testing with this. anyway, i do think zsync could be quite usefull for the daily installer images: it would produce very little computational and space overhead and allow people to download these images with a fraction of the bandwidth (if they already have an image, e.g. from yesterday). this in turn could help testing the images, as it's not that much hassle to get a new one. zsync is in stable, and has been used with great results for cd images before. if there is anything i can do to help implement this, holler. cu robert -- Robert Lemmen http://www.semistable.com
