Comments/Problems:
Unable to "detect and mount CD-Rom" due to failure of DMA. This drive
has issues with some DMA setups, but works fine with older installation
media. All installs that have a nodma option allows an installation to
procede.
Maybe this option should be included in future releases, to aid
installing on older/dying hardware? I reported this same bug last year
when I tested a beta Sarge installer.
Same installation media working on alternate i386 based machines.
Suggested Resolution:
Include "nodma" boot parameter, or document procedure to perform this.
