GRUB fails on HP DL360 G4: "could not read stage1 correctly"
Hi all,
I'm facing problems to install Debian Sarge on a HP DL360 G4 server: grub or lilo can't install
Here is my config:
DL360 G4 with smart 6i (with driver 2.34): 1 RAID5 volume of 600 GB.
I'm using debian-installer snapshot of 03.01.2005
Kernel is: 2.6.8-2-386 #1 Mon Jan 24 03:01:58 EST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
GRUB version: grub_0.95+cvs20040624-15_i386.deb

The problem comes when I run "Install LILO" or "Install GruB". Lilo does not say anything on vc2 or vc3. Grub tells that:

The file /boot/grub/stage1 not read correctly"
Any help would be greatly appreciated
