Hi!

Sorry for noise, but does anyone receive this ?
I sent this to bug 292747, but its web page does not show
my message.
I also asked Joey and John to confirm if they receive my message,
but they did not respond ( I saw Joey post to debian-boot
and debian-testing since then ).

I also submitted a new bug (for dosfstools) yesterday, but I
got no email response nor did anything appear on bugs.db.org web
page.

I have the same problem.

John , do you use kernel 2.4.x ?
( it is the default, so if you did not specify
anything extra, then you ended up with 2.4.x )

It seems the 2.4 kernel is lacking the PDC driver.
Or it is not in the initramdisk image.

So the kaernel ccan not find your disk.

The workaround for me is either :
 - use kernel 2.6.x ( start the install CD with "linux26" )
or
 - use the d-i installer RC2 "netinst" boot CD to start the installation
