Bug#288522: debian-installer: enough information?

Package: debian-installer
Followup-For: Bug #288522

Did my last report provide enough information for you all to tackle this
problem? If not, I can do more research. If it is low priority, I
understand; but I hope that it can be fixed before Sarge stabilizes,
as I'm sure that this could turn off the less-persistent of new
users (of course that assumes that they're comfortable enough to attempt
to install the 2.6 kernel, so they should have reasonable skill, but it would
of course just be nice for things to "just work"). Let me know if I
can provide any more useful information.  Thanks for all your hard work;
the installer is quite nice at this point (disregarding this minor nuisance).
