Usability has been a major concern since the beginning of d-i
development. And, for instance, confusing users with complicated
locale settings is for sure *not* improving usability....:-)

THe default install mode is designed for being as simple as possible
for unskilled users. This means that a lot of potentially jargonic, or
complicated, stuff are defaulted to "safe" values. This is for
instance why a "locale" choice was changed into a "language then
country" choice...

The interface used as a basis for d-i has some limitations, which
currently limit other usability improvments (such as contextual
on-line help, for instance). That is not likely to change for sarge
release...a few days/weeks before a release (or a scheduled release)
is definitely not the moment for changing such stuff.

This will probably improve a lot in the next d-i development
cycle...to which anyone is welcomed to participate in, of course..:-)
