Bug#279318: debian-installer: minor partition problem

Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

-- System Information:
Debian Release: 3.1
  APT prefers unstable
APT policy: (800, 'unstable'), (700, 'testing')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.9
Locale: LANG=en_IE@euro, LC_CTYPE=en_IE@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15)

try to install sarge, the iso was downloaded on 13/08/2004.

i've found the problem when the installation was on 2 disks with the
same partitions, filesystem, mountpoint and label(i need it for raid
software).

When i go on, the system alert me of that error "many partition with the
same label"(i don't remember now the exact string).

Ok, i go back to the partition table and when i change the filesystem
and the label to the secondary disk(to "fd"), all the changes are maded to the
first one.

i don't know whether it is the right solution or it is an error

but this is the situation

i need to made the changes first to the first disk(to "fd") then to the second(to "fd")
then come back to the first(to "ext3").

I think that the disks have the same fs, the changes are made always to
the first one

then go on to the system installation..

i need the same partition for future raid software...
