 C.4.4.5. Configure Locales
 ...is obsolete, locales is installed when you're finished with
 base-config

 And the lilo.conf, in C.4.6. Set up the Boot Loader:
 boot=/dev/hda6
 root=/dev/hda6
 install=/boot/boot-menu.b
 delay=20
 lba32
 image=/vmlinuz
 label=Debian

 ...is wrong, you're supposed to type install=menu in newer lilo.
