Bug#279215: "new" parameter is not checked, french documentation is wrong
Package: base-config
Version: 2.50
Severity: minor
Hi,
The french man page for base-config states you can call "base-config
[nouveau]", but the only supported spelling is "new", this is not
translated to "nouveau" in the source:
# Get the parameter past the script invocation.
if [ -z "$NEW" ] && [ "$1" = new ]; then
NEW=$1
fi
Additional problem: you can pass whatever you want as a parameter to
base-config, no error will be reported, even if the parameter has no
meaning. I think this is wrong too.
Regards,
