Bug#248506: d-i b4: selection of correct CPU-specific kernel
Here's /proc/cpuinfo for the 2.4 GHz P4. I was told by Frans Pop
<aragorn@tiscali.nl> that the kernel selection issue was because I was
using the netinst CD image which only includes the one kernel image to
keep the size down. I had actually anticipated this explanation.

What I didn't realize was that it may work better with the
businesscard ISO and with the full debian CDs. I have not tested
anything other than the 100 MB netinst ISO. Perhaps I'll try the
businesscard CD on for next install.
I believe this bug has already been closed, but I'll attach the
information as requested.
