Comments/Problems:
The beginner I was watching had no problems installing Debian with
German as choosen language.
Umlauts were not correctly displayed at the beginning when choosing
the keyboard and he was confused by "Tottasten". Those
"Tottasten"/deadkeys are still confusing people. I don't know how we
can solve this. Maybe add a note?
Umlauts were broken in console-data, too.
Besides the network-information he needs, I gave him 3 nameserver-IPs.
He did a typo in the first one. It was all fine till after the reboot
when he selected some tasks in tasksel. After tasksel, apt tried to
connect the mirror and failed because it could not resolve the
mirror-hostname. I corrected the first line in /etc/resolv.conf to get
it working. (I don't understand this behaviour, since the other two
"nameserver <ip>" entries were ok and alive...)
Detecting the other OS worked fine! great!
Dennis
