Since it seems like you had no problem with the base debian install, which is mostly what debian-installer is concerned with, I am reassigning this entire install report to the X package (and incrementing the please_support_xfs counter..). Debian's X maintainer will probably want some more information about your video card. (PS to Branden, I think read-edid and mdetect do get installed properly now.) -- see shy jo
