INSTALL REPORT

Debian-installer-version: beta1
uname -a: Linux localhost 2.4.22-1-386 #9 Sat Oct 4 14:30:39 EST 2003 i586 GNU/Linux

Method: How did you install? What did you boot off? If network
      install, from where? Proxied?
- > Installed from CDROM. The system would not boot from the CD so I
had to use the sbm image to be able to do so.

Comments/Problems:

The initial hardware detection is performed 3 or 4 times.
The keyboard setting is never asked.
Some debconf questions are so big the choices are displayed in a one-line
output, so the user might not realize there are several options.
The network is configured fine. The system, however, does not have a proper
network name. Now is called simply localhost.

Nothing more I can think off.

There are only two possible explanations: either no one told me,...
or no one knows.
