I think the message displayed below should be printed even when the
debconf priority is "critical" because it can (will) break the system,
well, not the system you are installing, but the installed system.

According to debconf-devel(7) for me it's clear:
critical:
Items that will probably break the system without user
        intervention.

Are you sure you want to automatically partition the disk ?
This will destroy the partition table on all disks in the machine.
REPEAT: THIS WILL WIPE CLEAN ALL HARD DISKS IN THE MACHINE!
If you have important data that are not backed up, you may want to
stop now in order to do a backup. In that case, you'll have to
 restart the installation later.

Changes:
 autopartkit (0.54) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Redirect some messages from postinst into /var/log/messages.
   * Change priority of confirm question from high to critical to make
sure it always is displayed. (Closes: #200640)
   * Improve error messages when unable to find the table file.
   * Avoid confusing autopartkit_err() macro. Make sure missing
table file is a fatal error.
   * Log messages to syslog, instead of to /var/log/messages.
