I see you have 3.0.22, which IIRC had this bug. Try getting 3.0.23
(from unstable), or better yet do a cvs checkout from
cvs.debian.org/boot-floppies, which has 3.0.24-almost.

Stable still has 3.0.22. Is there a reason 3.0.23 never moved to
stable, Eduard?
