Thanks for filing the bug, but I think you have a misunderstanding. Is
this what you meant in your previous postings?

Basically, a careful reading of the installation manual will show that
you should create MacOS partitions in MacOS, and Debian partitions in
Debian. 

All you need to do is delete the partitions you mention, and create
new ones with mac-fdisk to replace them. mac-fdisk will create
partitions with the correct type by default. The only tricky part is
naming the swap partition 'swap'.

I'm closing the bug now, but don't let that deter you from writing
more when you find problems that need fixing.
