I did that for my configuration and can now load ctc.o and get in dmesg:

CTC driver Version: 1.55 with CHANDEV support initialized
ctc0: read: ch 0400 (irq 000a), write: ch 0401 (irq 000b) proto: 0

Still no network when entering "1" for CTC network.
