Bug#129940: boot-floppies: S/390 (hercules): Can't find CTC adapter

Could you send me (or debian-s390) the output of "cat /proc/chandev"?

The old version asked for parameters to configure the CTC device,
which I had to do (ctc0,0x400,0x401). I tried that as a kernel
parameter but that didn't help.

boot-floppies 3.0.18 check /proc/chandev for available devices, in
your case a CTC interface could not be found there. This typically
means that loading the module will also fail so this error is caught
in advance. What happens if you select "0 (no network)" and manually
do "insmod ctc"?
