Randolph would have to answer for that.  Seems like something that got
fixed....

There was a bug in the old modconf which will be fixed in 2.2.11 in
which the parameters didn't seem to be actually passed along to
insmod.

So this should be fixed soon, when we manage to get 2.2.11 released.
