Hmmm, rd/c0d0 precedes rd/c0d0p*, and the device numbers are sensible,
so the code that parses /proc/partitions shouldn't have any problems.
I wonder if for some reason the partition table isn't being re-read by
the kernel after fdisk runs ...

Piotr, if you reboot after the fdisk step, can you continue with the
install?
