randolph - These are caused by a mismatch between the kernel-image package
and the pcmcia-modules package. They are a clear case of trying to use
kernel-image-2.2.14 version 2.2.14-3 with pcmcia-modules-2.2.14 version
3.1.8-9k1, when this kernel package REQUIRES the "k3" version of the
pcmcia-modules pacakge. The package description of pcmcia-modules-2.2.14
clearly warns about this.

The "k3" versions have already been uploaded.

I agree with you on this bug, the correct location is
"/lib/modules/2.2.14-ide". What is the final decision here? Are we going
to have to require ALL kernels of a particular version to conflict with
each other!!? (Note that this means that all of my pcmcia-modules-2.2.14
packages are going to have to conflict with each other, and I'm NOT
looking forward to supporting that!) That seems very stupid to me, and it
defeats the whole point of adding kernel flavors to begin with.

Anyhow, please let me know.

Okay. Please keep me informed.

Thanks,
