Mime-Version: 1.0

Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.1

architecture:  i386
model: Dell OptiPlex 466/L barebone
memory:        8M

I am trying to convert a old Dell OptiPlex 466/L to a debian linux
machine and when I boot from the floppy using the resc1440.bin, I will see
"Load boot.bin..." and immediately the display shuts off. I have tried to
look into the bios to see if there is any sleep function that I can turn off
and found none. I am rather frustrated at this and this is my first
experience with Debian.

These bugs were caused by syslinux problems in Slink. The potato
boot-floppies have a new syslinux which solves these problems.

I apologize but at this point we cannot go back and fix these problems
in slink boot-floppies. Closing this bug.
