Yes -- well. That's why I filed the bug against the pcmcia-modules
pkg rather than the kernel image pacakge. The 'compact' and 'idepci'
flavor should work similarly.
It's very distressing but I don't see *any* kernel/module image
combination from the Debian archive provides a functional pcmcia
module set.
