I wonder if anyone is using clusters for natural language processing?

I know here at the University of Western Ontario there are some people
doing Audiology work with a few medium sized clusters. Though largely
for what seems to be serial signal processing tasks.

Does it make sense to build a large paralellel architecture for signal
processing?
