Is it required for machines which are not quite homogeneous ? The reason why I wouldn't want to do this, is so that the package can be installed without any interaction. This makes it easy to just apt-get across the cluster. I'm not sure if FAI etc. are used to build clusters yet, in which case setting up mosix.map during installation would make sense. However, if there's a good way to set it up, without interaction required on every machine, I'm willing to try it out. Currently, I thought that simply putting mosix.map manually on every node was the easiest thing to do, which is why I just provide an empty template in the package. viral -- And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
