1.0.1 and 1.0.2 were bugfix releases, as far as I can tell.
I don't see (significant) new features, but I may have missed some, so
please elaborate on what new features you'd like to see in a backported
version.

In case those are bugfix releases, would it be better to have those via Debian stable?
