In my understanding, only the most important bug fixes could be uploaded
to stable, citing developers-reference:

> - The bug should be of severity "important" or higher.
> - Fixes must be minimal and relevant and include a sufficiently
>   detailed changelog entry.

Now the bug is actually of severity "important"… but the fix is not
minimal.

I think I could backport the fix to the stable version, I am open to
suggestions, I am still new here.
