But this is the same thing.

With both python and tcl you have X.Y (e.g. 3.9 and 8.6) as major
version number; for the -defaults package you’re adding another
number for the uploads of that package, so this is totally clear.

Oh hmm, you’re actually using 8.6.9+1 there. So, 8.6+1 would have
been better, I suppose. Or 8.6.1. Or 8.6-1 even but that’s not a
good version number to have for a native package.
