Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Saving a file that is used as an html signature for mails in
thunderbird, after
inserting an image inside it it.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective
(or
ineffective)?
1) I inserted the image in the html file, with the option
"insert as link"
unchecked,
2) I saved the file.
* What was the outcome of this action?
The resulting html file contains the image as a link
* What outcome did you expect instead?
The inserted image should appear as raw data in the html file.
The problem of having the
image as a link instead of raw data is that, when it is used as
a thunderbird
mail signature, the image is not properly displayed.
With libreoffice 4, the image was properly embedded in the html
file, so that
this file could be used as a mail signature. Now, with the lo 5
generated file,
instead of the image, I've got an empty square in my mail
signature showing a
broken image icon.
