Hi,
as you may have noticed Mesa 12.0.3 with amdgpu support has landed in
jessie-backports.
It uses the backported llvm-toolchain-3.8.
Furthermore there is now a backport of xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu
available for Jessie.
So if you want to use the backported amdgpu graphics driver stack on
Debian Jessie you need the following components from jessie-backports:
- linux kernel
- libdrm
- mesa
- xxv-amdgpu

I noticed that llvm-toolchain-3.8 FTBFS on arm64 and ppc64el [1] while
building fine on stretch/sid.
Thanks,
Andreas
