Hi everyone, Would there be any interest in backporting Git 2.8 to Jessie? Since Git 2.1, there have been many new features (worktrees, etc.), performance enhancements, and general syntax improvements to make life easier. I've uploaded git 1:2.8.1-1~bpo8+1 to mentors at https://mentors.debian.net/package/git. For many months I've been using local backports of Git with no noticeable issues. :) Best, James
