Hi,

I am running Gnome and network-manager-gnome is already installed.

The add VPN menu from the network-manager GUI only proposes me to import from a file whereas running directly nm-connection-editor allows adding a VPN connection...

I am pretty sure that it works with the Network Manager in
Jessie (sample snapshots done with xfce4 are attached). Which
desktop environment do you use? Did you install network-\
manager-gnome?
