AucTeX poses problems in the current stable release, of the kind :

Error running timer `font-latex-jit-lock-force-redisplay':
(wrong-number-of-arguments (2 . 2) 3)

Is there a plan to upgrade it, or backport a more recent version ?

I know this is not the best place to ask, but I've encountered this
problem for quite a while now, and I don't know how to fix it
properly...
