Debhelper isn't in official jessie-backports. Did you backport it
locally or do I miss something?
No, it's my fault. I could've sworn I'd needed a newer debhelper for btrfs-tools but that was another local backport entirely (nullmailer for squeeze). So current btrfs-tools should be fine in jessie as-is, at least build-dep wise.
